The recall, which affects 2008-2010 Grizzly 550 and 700 models (non power steering models) was issued because the steering column support assembly can crack which can cause a rider to lose steering control. This recall involves the non- power steering models. Model names can be found on both the right and left hand side of the unit on the side panel. The following model numbers are affected by this recall: Yamaha has received 19 reports of incidents involving the recalled ATVs, but no injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ATVs and contact their local Yamaha dealer to schedule a free repair. Registered owners were sent direct mail notification of the recall.
