Or www.greenfieldcba.org Message from Our trail coordinator, Sunday June 6th 9AM I want to concentrate on the Pond Mountain Trail and the Indian Cobble trail and the spur to the Indian Cobble lookout. At the top of the Pond Mountain trail, we need to do accommodate some of the SxS's a little better. So the plan would be: Start at #8 go up and over Pond Mtn to 18A. Looping back, we can clear Indian Cobble from 18A back to 9. On the way, clear the spur to the summit. With this done, about 80% of the lower property will be done. The next section will be to start working on the upper Springer mountain area. We will start that next. After that, we start clearing the "Extended" property. Also, we must not forget about ongoing maintenance. We need to occasionally clear the water bars and make sure water runs OFF the trail. If we don't then we will have major issues. The only place that I think needs a lot of work is the trail from 5 to 5A. The water bars are dug, but the runoffs are clogged up and it is letting water run down the center of the trail. If anyone is willing to do this I would appreciate it. Just let me know. If not, we will schedule it during the next couple of weeks, after we get the trails cleared.
