If you are not on the list you will not be allowed into the pits without a charge. The fair has also offered to provide all workers with a pass to attend the fair. The Northern chapter has felt the impact and political force of the north county. We have worked hard over the years throughout the North Country supporting the entire region. We brought in our personal and club’s heavy equipment to open and develop the Regional Trails pushing our equipment to their breaking points. We applied for a Grant and were denied in our time of need due to lack of support, and comments made that there was more than enough equipment available in the North Country. After riding our Trails in Jefferson County this past weekend after months of construction, they are well signed, posted speed limits, maintained and groomed. We far exceed anything that has been put on a pedestal to our NE. I am not sure how the V&T laws are but would think a trail that justified opening a road could not be abandoned, or a road that was open that does not lead to a trail remained signed. Winona Forest Trail Crew was asked to put a finishing touch on their trails as we did our “ATV Magazine Ride Article.“ They came through for us with outstanding trails in the forest. The Northern Chapter will be taking a step back from the regional affairs and focusing on continuing to develop our trails. I have enclosed some pictures of what we focus on as always, here in Jefferson County. We plan on continued improvements in making Safe and Maintainable Trails, and Education through ATV Safety Training.
